The tour begins with a brief visit to the 17th century Spice Bazaar, one of the most colourful, bustling attractions of Istanbul. Spice Bazaar, located in Fatih, is the second largest covered shopping complex after the Grand Bazaar.
The Rüstem Pasha Mosque, built in 1560 in Eminönü district by the Golden Horn, is among the city's architectural gems. The mosque is the first example of how the great Ottoman architect Mimar Sinan built a mosque to an octagonal plan. Although small, it is beautifully proportioned, and the interior is covered in some of the most beautiful red Iznik coloured tiles ever produced.
Next, you go to the Golden Horn for an unforgettable cruise along the Bosphorus, the majestic strait that runs through Istanbul, dividing Europe and Asia.
