Unlike many hans, it contains sections for specific functions. The next stop is in Pınarbaşı for a short tea break, after that the journey continues to Tekir for lunch. The next stop is in Kahramanmaraş to taste the most famous ice cream in Turkey. In the evening you arrive at your hotel in Adiyaman, check in to the hotel and have dinner.

You leave the hotel very early in the morning for the 1.5 h drive to Mount Nemrut. At the end of the road you have to get off the van and climb up to the summit. Up there you can watch the beautiful sunrise lighting up the colossal statues of kings and gods and their heads which have fallen off. After the sunrise the guide gives you information about the Commagene Kingdom and the statues and you can walk around and take pictures. Before climbing down you also see the almost identical statues on the sunset side. On the way back to the hotel you visit the ruins of Arsemia (the summer capital of the Commagene kingdom), the Roman bridge of Cendere (one of the oldest bridges in the world which is still in use, built in honour of Septimus Severus) and the Karakuş Tumulus (the Monumental Tomb). After breakfast, you check out of the hotel and continue the journey to Şanlıurfa and Harran.

On the way, you visit the Atatürk Dam which is the biggest dam in Middle East. In Şanlıurfa you check in to your hotel. After that you visit Abraham's cave and the pond of holy carp. You can also walk around in the oriental covered bazaar After lunch in Şanlıurfa you visit the village of Harran which is famous for its mudbrick "beehive" houses mentioned in the book of genesis, where prophet Abraham spent the last years of his life. You can also see the city walls, the ruins of the oldest Islamic university and the castle dated to the 18th century. You can also go to Göbekli Tepe, the oldest religious building in the world, which is also considered a potential site for the Garden of Eden. After that you go back to the hotel for dinner.

Day 3: Şanlıurfa– Cappadocia
