Payments 

Payment in full is required at time of booking in order to secure your reservation Prices are subject to change without notice. All applicable taxes at the time of booking are included in the price of the Tours. Package tour prices are per person, based on double occupancy. Single room supplements and triple room reductions are listed where applicable. Not all accommodation types are available on all tours. For group reservations refer to the Group Pricing, which will be provided to you by New Goreme Tour upon request.

 

Forms of Payment 

Payment may be made by Travelers check, American Express, Diners Club, Discover Card, MasterCard, Optima, or Visa credit card.

 

If you wish to cancel your booking you must do so in writing. You will then be subject to the following cancellation charges. Cancellations received more than 30 days before departure will be assessed a penalty equal to 25% per person. Cancellations received 29-8 days prior to departure will be assessed a penalty equal to 50% of the total cost per person. Cancellations received within 7 days of departure are subject to 100 % cancellation penalties. New Goreme Tour does not accept responsibility for cancellation or changes in the tour for reasons beyond its control, such as (but not limited to) terrorist activities, civil unrest, closure of airports, technical problems with transport, adverse weather conditions, strikes, and all similar events whether these events are threatened or actual. Care and diligence have been exercised in the making of these tour arrangements.Insurance &

Health / Fitness 

It is a requirement of the booking that you have comprehensive holiday and travel insurance coverage including out of country medical coverage. You must be fit and well to take part in these tours. They involve a significant amount of walking and some scrambling over rough terrain on archaeological sites. It is the responsibility of the individual tour members to decide whether they are medically fit and able to undertake these tours.

 

Hotel Accommodations 

All rooms are standard twin-bedded (two single beds) rooms with private facilities, unless you have specifically requested and paid for an upgraded room category. Special requests such as bed types, smoking preference and connecting rooms are subject to availability. Room selection in all cases, unless otherwise reserved, is strictly at the discretion of the hotel's management on a run-of-house basis. Triple rooms consist of standard twin beds plus a sofa/folding bed or cot for third person. The number of persons accommodated does not dictate the room size. All hotel rates are based on New Goreme Tour agreements with its suppliers and are not negotiable. Hotel check-in time is generally not before 4:00 p.m. and check-out time is prior to noon. We reserve the right to make substitutions with hotels of equal standard. There will be no refunds for any difference in the cost of those accommodations.

 

Transfers 

Transfers are provided as indicated for each tour by car, minibus, or motor coach provided airfare is purchased from New Goreme Tour. Your arrival transfer is guaranteed for up to one hour from your scheduled arrival time in order to compensate for minor delays. New Goreme Tour or the transfer company will not be responsible for flight delays, for any reason, beyond one hour from your originally scheduled arrival time. In case of a delay, whether due to flight delay or time spent reporting baggage damage or loss, it will be your responsibility to make other transfer arrangements such as a taxi. Transfer costs are not refundable and any additional expenses will be your responsibility.

 

Car Rental 

These Terms & Conditions contain a summary of some of the rental conditions. For full, detailed conditions refer to the conditions schedule in the car rental agreement. To rent a car, drivers must be 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license. Car rental terms and conditions are subject to change but usually do not include gasoline, tolls, ferries, additional insurance, taxes, infant seat charges, or surcharges for additional drivers. Rental days are calculated on a 24-hour basis. Early return of the vehicle does not entitle you to any refund of the unused portion of the rental. Fees associated with rental exceptions and/or late car returns are not covered by New Goreme Tour.Travelers Requiring Special AssistanceAny disability requiring special attention should be reported to New Goreme Tour at the time the reservation is made. New Goreme Tour will make reasonable attempts to accommodate the special needs of such travelers, but it is not responsible for any denial of services by carriers, hotels, and other independent suppliers. We regret that we cannot provide individual assistance to a tour member for walking, dining, or other personal needs. Travelers who need such assistance must be accompanied by a qualified companion.

 

Visas & Passports 

You are responsible for obtaining and paying for all visas and entry documents, for meeting all health and other requirements, and for any documents required by the laws, regulations, orders, and/or requirements of the Turkish Customs. Non-U.S. citizens must consult with appropriate consulates to determine if any visas are needed and are responsible for obtaining all visas and entry documents independently. New Goreme Tour is not responsible for providing you with specific visa and passport information or documentation and New Goreme Tour cannot accept liability for any passenger refused entry onto any transport or into Turkey due to failure of the passenger to carry correct documentation. All passengers traveling to Turkey are required to have a passport and a valid visa.

 

Liability 

New Goreme Tour is not liable for any loss, damage, injury, delay, or irregularity arising from negligence by any third party or the negligence of its customers. New Goreme Tour can not be held responsible for a failure of sub-contracted ancillary services.

 

Complaints 

Any complaints must be reported immediately within 24 hours to the Tour Leader who will do everything possible to resolve the matter.
