The tour starts with pickup from your hotel at about 9 am. First you visit the site of the temple of Artemis which was one of the seven wonders in the ancient world. Only one of the columns of the temples has survived the fire and numerous earthquakes.
Next you go to the ancient city of Ephesus, which was first an ancient Greek city, and later a major Roman city. It was one of the twelve cities of the Ionian League during the Classical Greek era. In the Roman period, Ephesus had a population of more than 250,000 in the 1st century BC, which made it one of the largest cities in the Mediterranean.
