The tour starts at 8.30. After passing Kayseri and admiring the beauty of Mount Erciyes, you visit a 13th century Seljuk caravanseray Karatayhan. The next stop is in Pınarbaşı for a short tea break, after that the journey continues to Tekir for lunch. The next stop is in Kahramanmaraş to taste the most famous ice cream in Turkey. In the evening you arrive at your hotel in Adiyaman or Kahta, check-in to the hotel and have dinner.

 

 

 

You leave hotel very early in the morning for the 1.5 h drive to Mount Nemrut. At the end of the road you have to get off the van and climb up to the summit. Up there you can watch the beautiful sunrise lighting up the colossal size statues and heads of kings and gods. After the sunrise the guide gives you information about the Commagene Kingdom and the statues and you can walk around and take pictures. On the way back to the hotel we visit the ruins of the Arsemia temple, the Roman bridge of Cendere, the Tumulus Tomb of Karakus and the capital of the Commagene Kingdom. After breakfast you are dropped off at the bus station and start your journey back to Cappadocia.
